Practical veterinary diagnostic ultrasound masterclasses

Knowledge is one thing. Technique is another.

This is where they meet.

Reading about probe movement is one thing. Watching exactly where to place it, how to adjust it and what you should be seeing as you go is something else entirely.
eVet Academy masterclasses take the practical, medicine-led approach of the guides and bring it to life in real time.

Adrenal Gland Ultrasound Masterclass

The adrenal glands are small, tucked away and notoriously easy to miss. Most vets either skip them entirely or spend longer than they should looking in the wrong place.

This masterclass gives you a reliable, repeatable technique for both canine and feline adrenal imaging. You’ll learn how to find them every time, in every patient.

RACE approved for 1 hour CE upon completion of a short quiz

On demand to watch at your convenience

60-minute tutorial and Q&A

Just $67 USD

What you’ll gain:

Our proprietary eVet LADR and RADR protocols

Simple, acronym-based systems for finding the left and right adrenal glands

Two other techniques for locating the adrenals

Giving you multiple approaches to fall back on when one isn’t working for a particular patient

How to move from the kidney to the adrenal gland

Systematically, with probe positioning and patient set-up that actually makes a difference

Abnormal adrenal findings

What to look for and what they mean clinically

Common mistakes and how to avoid them

Including the one that has most vets looking at the wrong end of the kidney

This masterclass is for you if:

You've never found an adrenal confidently.

You know they’re there. You know you should be assessing them. You just haven’t landed on a technique that works reliably. This session gives you not one but three systematic approaches you can use during your next scan.

You want to hear how other vets are approaching it.

The Q&A from the original live session is included in full, with real questions from real vets working through the same challenges, with Belinda’s answers.

You find them inconsistently.

Some days you find them quickly. Other days, you scan for longer than you should and give up. This masterclass irons out the inconsistency so you’re finding them the same way every time, regardless of patient size or position.

You need CE hours.

This program has been RACE-approved for those who recognise RACE approval, with 1 hour of continuing education credit available to each attendee following successful completion (70%) of the included quiz. If you’re a North American vet maintaining your licence, this masterclass counts.

I have seen many videos online as well as even some paid ones (plus few books), but none of those explained how to find adrenal glands ‘practically’.

Your way of training is very ‘real’ (not just text) and easy to understand. I already started getting success (of course, with multiple resets) after reading your abdominal guide. After the masterclass, I am feeling very confident in finding adrenals.

I also want to add that before reading your guide, I was trying both recumbent positions and both techniques (kidney marker and follow the aorta), but was never successful, as I was missing the basic concept . Thank you very much!

More masterclasses coming

eVet Academy masterclasses are built around the clinical gaps that come up most often in general practice. Sessions are planned across a range of topics, including scan technique and probe positioning, interpretation of findings and organ-specific deep dives for the structures that cause the most uncertainty in the clinic.

Topics in development include:

Gastrointestinal tract

A focused session on gastrointestinal ultrasonography – reviewing and measuring wall layers, identifying abnormalities and understanding what changes in the GI wall mean for your patient.

Pancreas

Sonographic evaluation of the pancreas in dogs and cats. Where to find it, what normal looks like and how to recognise the changes that matter clinically.

AFAST and TFAST

A practical, technique-focused session on focused ultrasound exams in emergency and critical care settings. Systematic, fast and designed for the vet who needs answers quickly.

What to expect from an eVet Academy masterclass

Technique you can use the same day.

Every session is built around practical application in general practice.

Demonstrated technique, start to finish.

Watch the scan unfold from the beginning with probe movement, patient positioning and adjustments captured on screen.

Belinda's teaching style on screen.

The same direct, no-jargon, medicine-led approach that makes the guides work, translated into a format where you can directly see what she’s doing.

A resource you can return to.

Sessions are recorded so you can come back to the technique guidance whenever you need a refresher.

Part of something bigger.

Masterclasses sit alongside the guides, the community and 1:1 coaching as part of a complete learning ecosystem built for vets.

Your posts and the first book helped me get through this first year of practice. I felt more confident whenever I had to do an ultrasound and I had such a clear vision of the organs and how I should examine them. I even found things my more experienced colleagues didn’t, just because I was looking carefully and not scared.

This guide has already been the perfect tool for me as a GP vet. Step-by-step guides on how to find all the essential organs – even the pancreas! 11/10 recommend.

Why most ultrasound training doesn’t translate to clinic

Reading about technique is useful. Generic online videos are useful. But neither of them shows you the subtle hand movements, the probe angles and the small adjustments that make real differences in the exam room.

That gap between knowing and doing is where most vets get stuck.

eVet Academy masterclasses close it with:

  • Scanning demonstration
  • Technique explained as it happens
  • Hands-on small animal ultrasound protocols that you can translate directly to your next scan
  • On demand, so you can watch it as needed

Questions you might have about eVet masterclasses

How do I access the masterclass?

As soon as your purchase is confirmed, you’ll receive an email receipt and access to the eVet Academy Portal.
The masterclass is available on demand. Watch it on any device, at any time, as many times as you like.

Can I watch it back?

Yes. The masterclass is on demand and yours to keep. Watch it once before your next scan, again after a tricky case or as many times as you need. There’s no expiry and no limit on replays.

What do I need to watch?

A stable internet connection and a device to watch on. That’s it.

What currency is the price in?

All prices are in USD. Your bank or payment provider will handle the conversion automatically at checkout.

How is this different from a free YouTube tutorial?

Free tutorials tend to show you a finished result with little context for how they were achieved. The camera angles rarely give you a clear view of what the probe is actually doing.

This masterclass shows you the technique; every probe adjustment, every patient repositioning, every real-time decision that gets you from probe-on to confident finding. It’s the difference between watching someone scan and understanding how to do it yourself.

I'm based outside Australia. Can I still participate?

Yes. The masterclass is on demand and available to vets worldwide. Watch it whenever suits your schedule, regardless of time zone.

Take a masterclass.

Scan better.
